The Grape Hall Seventh-day Adventist Church is squarely located in Grape Hall, St. Lucy, as a beacon to give light to its environs and surrounding districts of Crab Hill and Greenidges. The name of the area is derived from the Sea Grape Coccoloba Uvifera.

This tree bears numerous fruit on a stalk which have a resemblance to the fruit of the vine, grown elsewhere and are also edible.
